Following successful trials the new vessel for Tees Foyboatmen has entered service, powered by Hyundai’s IMO Tier 3 4L066TI, driving a D-I Industrial DMT110A gearbox and with steering equipment from D-I Industrial.

Watermota were contacted to re-power a commercial pilot vessel registered in the port of Falmouth. The brief from the customer was to increase engine power by 20% in order to achieve a maximum hull speed of 22 knots but reduce the fuel consumption of the vessel within its two main working duties.
