We’re thrilled to welcome Josh Mumford to the Watermota Team.

We are excited to announce the newest member of the Watermota team – Josh Mumford, who joins us as a Marine and Service Engineer. With a strong background in quarry and heavy plant engineering, Josh brings a unique skill set and a fresh perspective to our marine operations as well as industrial engine expertise.

Josh’s engineering journey has been anything but ordinary. He started in the demanding world of quarry and heavy plant engineering, where he honed his technical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Josh’s curiosity and desire for new challenges led him to the marine sector. He found the diverse and dynamic nature of marine engineering much more interesting, and he wanted to broaden his expertise.

“Transitioning to the marine sector is incredibly exciting,” Josh says. “I was eager to diversify my experience, and the opportunities at Watermota offered the perfect mix of in-depth technical challenges that only a main distributor can offer and the chance to work with a variety of marine equipment across multiple sectors of the industry.”

At Watermota, Josh's responsibilities include:

  • Conducting detailed inspections, maintenance, and repairs of marine engines and systems.
  • Collaborating with our service department to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Providing technical support and training to our dealer network.
  • Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new marine equipment.

Outside of his professional life, Josh enjoys travelling and spending time in the countryside, which allows him to unwind and connect with nature. He likes to relax in the local pub where he can and socialise with friends.

James, our Sales Director, shares his excitement about Josh joining the team:

“We are thrilled to have Josh on board. His extensive background in heavy plant engineering, combined with his eagerness to dive into the marine sector, makes him a valuable asset to Watermota. We look forward to the expertise and innovative thinking he will bring to our projects.”

We are confident that Josh will make significant contributions to our team and help drive Watermota forward.
