Hyundai Doosan Infracore’s IMO TIER III solution has many benefits for the vessel operator, these include the supply of a complete aftertreatment package including SCR and DEF tank. As all these components come from the engine manufacturer, we are able to offer a cost-effective way of complying with these emission regulations.
HDI have a range of compliant engines from 80 - 405Kw and will soon expand the range up to 900Kw. The system itself is compact and modular in design so that it can be tailored to suit installation in both newbuilds and vessels undergoing refit.
Watermota can offer up to 3 years warranty on the system meaning peace of mind for the customer and also an engine Telematics system so that the engine can be monitored from anywhere in the world, giving unprecedented levels of information and control for the vessel operator.

Watermota are working with HDI to supply these engines into the UK Marine sector and have heavily invested in making sure they meet the customers needs, this includes increasing engine and parts stock at our Headquarters in Devon, UK in order to minimise the lead time for engines and therefore the downtime for the client.
Watermota are actively supplying these engines to leading UK boatbuilders including Blyth Catamarans, Macduff Shipyards and Meercat Boats for new build vessels and have commercial clients based on the river Thames who have successfully repowered using HDI’s IMO TIER III solution.
