Emergency Engine Support
One of our long standing customers who has several Doosan engines in their workboats recently required our immediate support. The project required an emergency engine rebuild to minimise vessel downtime. The L136T needed a full overhaul including fuel pump calibration which was turned around in just seven days.
Keith Booker, General Manager, said, “We received a call from our customer requiring immediate assistant for unscheduled repairs to an engine. The engine was removed, completely overhauled in our workshop, tested, repainted and returned to the customer within seven days. The customer refitted the unit and our service engineers attended the site and carried out sea trials on the vessel.”
Warranty support for Doosan
We recently visited a site in Kent to support Doosan with their generator warranty cover. The 750kva set had a reported engine noise which was the result of incorrectly tensioned drive belts. Our service engineer diagnosed, rectified the fault and the generator was back online within two hours.
Chris Ashington, Service Support, said, “We work closely with generator manufacturers, we are often tasked to provide service support for Doosan powered generator sets. We cover the UK with warranty support and routine maintenance as part of our partnership with Doosan.”
